Hazel M. Becker

Hazel M Becker, 90, formerly of Green Pond Road, Palmer Township, died Friday in Gracedale where she has been a guest since 1980.

She was a weaver at the former Stewart Silk Mill in Phillipsburg for many years.

Born in Phillipsburg on October 7, 1892, she was the daughter of the late William and Cordelia Cripps Houseworth.

She was a member of Oilvet Presbyterian Church, Easton, and a member and former Pennsylvania grand templar of the Ladies of the Golden Eagle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Becker, who died in 1943.

She is survived by a daughter, Edna M. Metz of Palmer Township: a sister Emma Terinelli of Rocky Mount, NC; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday in the Ashton Funeral Home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township.
